finally i got it lol its a bit late but thanks every1 it helped me a bunch i found out that all i needed were numbers 67 68 69 finally doing 5 and 7 day achievement next woohoo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

im 9 and iv got this achievement iv got 50/50

Number 76 is Tad Hawthorne. I don't THINK he is required to get any achievement other than the photographer's challenge.

I did rescue Cheryl, however on this particular run through of the game, Cheryl did not send an invitation to be photographed. I will know later today if I am able to get at least 50 safe people. I have 45 now.. and I think I can still get Brett, Jonathan, Alyssa, Susan and Simone. The Full Set achievement does not have to be completed in one game. It is cumulative. The one save slot is due to the XBOX Gamerscore. With multiple save slots, anybody could get through the game. I hate the Xbox because there really are no "cheats" like there are for pc games, and the save issue. Microsoft hardware has always been sub-standard. The Wii is grossly overrated also.

I finally got the Frank the Pimp achievement. Good luck getting it! There is no question that the timing of events, whether events occur at all, and the difficulty is ramped up when you go for this achievement. The most annoying thing is that the yellow coats are sure to imprison you if you don't manage to complete the achievement before going to Colby's. Sally mysteriously is not around when you need her... Jennifer is easy to get, but you must get her very quickly. Now back to complete the game with the A ending hopefully. On a previous play, I DID complete all the missions and was standing on the heliport pad waiting for the pilot.. but when he arrived he said I was not there and got the C ending instead! That was a rip-off.

By the way, I hear that this game is not as good on a Wii. The Wii's popularity seems to be a result of it's lack of availability. The gimmick of using hand motions to do actions is weak. The actual movements are far from precise or realistic. But for all these game systems, I suggest buying stock in a company that makes AA batteries because these games eat 2 batteries with every day of use. Turn off the silly vibrator mode if possible. On Dead Rising, there is an option to turn off the vibration which I selected.. but the controller STILL vibrates!

The programmers of Dead Rising have an evil sense of humor. When trying to do the 54k genocide run, if you mess up much, you won't have time to finish (but I did).

Even MORE frustrating is the Frank the Pimp achievement where you have to escort 8 of the ladies at once. The problem there is, the ladies do not follow instructions very well, and mysteriously the guys in yellow raincoats are much better at taking you out with a puff of dust and taking all your weapons, and don't be surprised if only ONE of the 4 girls are there with the fat cop. Still, I think I can get the achievement by waiting for the 3 Colby girls. But that is a long an annoying wait. In some situations, if you don't complete the cases, you don't get the remaining scoops either which does not make sense.

First, a new hint. I have found that Adam often takes my kanana leaving me with no weapon. Out of desperation, I found a much better weapon to deal with Adam... the gumball machine downstairs! Two hits and Adam is toast. This game is so annoying to play. I just missed the unannounced scoop with Isabela, so I have to start all over again. Also, it is ironic that when you save your game, there is a circular red swirl on the screen, much like the red ring of crash death on the Xbox. That is the most often time when that crash occurs too.

This game is very unusual in that you play the game several times with several different goals.
The first time you play, try not to throw the game in the garbage, when you first start, Frank moves way too slow and dies way too easily. To speed up and learn skills and avoid dying, I recommend doing the boring and repetitive zombie kill in the tunnels to kill off 54k zombies and in the process, you get to the maximum level of 50 with all the speed and other stuff.

When doing the zombie run, you won't be able to finish the cases. So play the game again, perhaps this time to finish the cases and ignore the escort missions.

Then play again, doing the escorts only (and cases if you can manage it)

Then play again, just skipping to the part where there are 8 girls you can escort at one time by using the Wonderland and Paradise Plaza bathrooms.

You might like to play again to wear all the clothes in all the stores for another achievement. On this game, you might be able to eat all the food items to get that achievement also.

This game uses the CPU so much that you might actually get some of the infamous 3 ring of death errors that the Xbox is famous for. If you do, that error can almost always be fixed by unplugging the xbox and / or ejecting the disc for a few seconds. That error is due to overheating and too much power being drained by the fans. Did you know that 100% of XBox units have this error where you crash? Luckily, in almost all cases the error is not permanent even though it will occur again. I would estimate that after 5 or 10 years, all XBox units will fail permanently.

A few assorted comments:

This game is very tedious and nearly impossible until you develop a high level which is then kept for new games.

Kathy Peterson CAN be saved at the beginning if you clear a path for her. It isn't worth the effort though.

I think that Otis doesn't bother you so much if you let him finish what he has to say. Then he doesn't repeat it again.

In the list of 78 survivors in this forum, it says to kill Keanan, they meant SEAN.

The programmers should have spaced the scoops out more.

There is a time when they overlap and almost can't be completed, and then the last 12 hours of the game have nothing to do.

I wish there was a way to speed up time at some points to avoid long waits.

I played this many times BEFORE I found out that there is Bill hiding in "In The Closet"

It would be nice if the escorts could drink juices - not for abilities, just for health.

It makes no sense that the 3 prisoners spawn.

There is a bug in the game with the twins. Be careful when you photograph both of them. You will probably only get credit for ONE of them which will mess up your photo achievement.

Even though I got the genocide achievement, I still have not gotten the Real Mega Buster in the security room. I hear that you have to get ending A before it appears. I think the mini chainsaws might be better anyway, but then the RMB might not need the 3 books to make the weapons last longer.

for easy pp achievements in the beginning of the game 1. take pictures in the helecopter 2. take a picture of the notice board in the secuaty room 3. take pictures of the the people in the entrances plaza and the entrance doors 4. take a picture of the air duct entrances on the roof and finally take a picture of jeff and natalie hugging. And that my friends will get u alot of pp stickers and lvl u up alot to (i think)

a friend of a friend told me that if you kill all the zombies in the entrance plaza u cansave the people that are still alive but im not sure.

You can't save Dakota if you wait like 5 minutes at the Title screen you'll see where she is.

Do Kent's first two missions, then at noon on the third day MAKE SURE TO BE THERE MORE THAN 5 MINUTES BEFORE THE CASE OR TAD WILL DIE. Then kill Kent, and save Tad.

When you first see Kent in 'Cut from the Same Cloth', he asks you to get an EROTICA Picture worth 500-750 PP or more. Show this to him in 'Photo Challenge'. When 'Photographer's Pride' appears, be there within 10 Minutes (Be there 5 Minutes before if you're afraid you'll be late). Tad will not yet be dead. Defeat Kent and Untie Tad. Talk to him a couple of times and he will join you.

I have a small problem. What happened was I got a few achievements while disconnected from xbox live. I then went over to a friend's house, and recovered my gamertag there. When I got back to MY xbox, I had to recover it again. When I did, it showed me having less gamerpoints than I did before I got some of the Dead Rising achievements.

What I want to know is, is there any way to unlock the achievements again? I redid the requirements for punisher, out/indoorsman, etc, but they would not unlock for me.

Will there be any way for me to get them back? Replies encouraged please :\

The erotica photo to get to Pyscho Kent only needs to be 700+pp and you can get that after Brad is shot by Carlitto and Jessie is sitting on the bed in the security room. Just aim the camera at her nether region and make sure her chest get a little camera time too and you should get a picture over 700 PP

2 get 76 u to do photo challenge and then u get photographers pride defeat Kent to save Tad and that is number 76. You need an erotica picture of 1000 or more to get photographers pride

Bill is in the second floor closet.

For number 76 you need to complete "Cut from the Same Cloth" and "Photographer's Pride", which are Kent's challenges.

Late in the game, you have to be on time for Kent's scoop- FIND him in Paradise plaza before time runs out. If you are on time, you can save Tad.

If you are late, Tad will die.
