This system is better and faster than the flash diagram version above.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mr.Biggles Zombie Genocider Guide Purpose: The quickest and most efficient way to get the Zombie Genocider achievement. This achievement also grants the player the Mega Buster gun in the security room next time a 72 hour mode game is started. First, to dispel some bad habits. Of the guides I've seen, people incorporate all three vehicles, and go straight from point A to point B. This is not efficient. My technique uses only two vehicles and a technique I call 'grass-cutting' for max kills. Grass-cutting: This is basically driving around in tight circles in areas with extremely dense concentrations of zombies. There are two notable locations with these concentrations: 1) at the truck spawn point under Seon's Supermarket (North Plaza) 2) immediately outside the area where the white car spawns under paradise plaza You will be mowing down all of these zombies like they are blades of grass. Note: that this can only be done with the white car, but that's enough because the white car can take out both concentrated groups without breaking down. The Grass-cutter technique: --------------------------- Line up your car against one wall and cut the wheel as hard as you can to go into a tight turn. You can not be going full throttle or you won't make the cut (you'll hit the opposite wall of the tunnel). You must tap the gas in a rhytmic manner to maintain a speed that will allow you to make a circle between any two walls of a tunnel. As you make your circles, you'll cut a path through the crowd... once you have done this, and when against a tunnel wall, straighten your tradjectory for a split second so that your next circle will be offset from the previous circular path you cleared. This will allow you to mow down another load of zombies. Repeat this until most all zombies in the concentrated group are dead. Don't worry about the few stragglers, it's not worth it. The Setup: ---------- First thing you'll need to do is get the maintenence key so you can save your progress. Start this task by going outside to leisure park and head into the alley that leads to the parking lot with the motorcycle and red convertible. Take the convertible and go underground. Once underground make a right, a left and then a right again. This will bring you to dead end with a door. Go in the door and to the back right corner of the room. Grab the maintenence key and get back in the convertible. Leaving the dead end, make a right, another right, and then a left. Go until you hit another dead end and notice the white car. This is your killing machine. This is also the area where you'll reload the level to respawn cars and also to save in paradise plaza. The Route: ---------- <`><`>< THE WHITE CAR ><`><`> Jump in the white car and head out of the dead end area. Notice immediately after you enter the tunnel that there is a ton of zombies here in a T-junction. For those not familiar with the term, T-junction refers to a point in a path where a straight path has another path intersecting it in a perpendicular manner - it forms a T shape. Anyway, take a look at this diagram: | | So that's the plan. You stick close to a wall, then turn sharply to do circles through the crowds of zombies. Remember, don't do full throttle, you'll never make the cut and you'll hit the side of the tunnel wall. I found myself tapping the throttle at regular intervals to maintain a constant speed that was slow enough to make a circle between the two tunnel walls. You can and should hit the cannister-on-handtruck zombies in this crowd to quickly clear this area. After a few runs you'll get the hang of doing this efficiently. Once you've cleared this group of zombies, head down the tunnel as indicated in the diagram in step 4 (you'll be heading towards the truck spawn location). So you'll make a right, a left, and another right. You'll pass the ramp from which you entered the underground area and finally make a left (you'll be forced to) and find yourself at the truck spawn location. This is another area with a concentration of zombies. Take your white car and do circles all in this area and mow down all the zombies using the grass-cutter technique with offset circular patterns. This area is wider than the tunnel sections so you can go a little faster and make a bigger circle. Once you clear this area head a little bit back down the tunnel and hit the gas cannister zombie to kill another group of them. This will probably kill your car at this point, if not kill more zombies but don't stray too far from the truck because your car will break soon and you don't want to have to fight through a ton of zombies. Once you car busts, get in the truck. <`><`>< THE TRUCK ><`><`> Note: during your drive to the white car spawn location that I'm about to explain, you'll notice where the groups of zombies tend to gather, and also where the cannisters are located in those groups of zombies. After a few runs you'll be able to maximize your zombie killing during this run. Ok, you're in the truck now... Head out of this dead end area and back to the long stretch tunnel. Go for the full length of this tunnel 'til you hit the end and are forced to turn left. You'll then quickly come upon a round-about section of the tunnel. Take the second right off the round-about (there are two possible branches off the round-about... one takes you to al fresca plaza and the other takes you to a T-junction). Once you hit the T-junction, make a right. Go down, hit the jog at Entrance Plaza, then head up towards Paradise Plaza again. When you hit the next T-junction, make a right and you'll be at the white car spawn point again - but there's no white car! We'll handle that right now... -+= Reload The Level =+- Head into the door located in the area where the white car was located. You'll have to fight through one group of zombies... no biggie (i suggest you get the small chainsaws from adam the clown and the magazines to make them last). Take a left at the end of the hall and notice an elevator. Get in the elevator and hit the button. Notice the level reloads. You now have your white car and truck again. Also notice that as you leave the elevator there isn't a zombie to be seen. Go back down the stairs and out to the white car. All clear. You can tell Capcom did this on purpose to make your life easier in doing the genocide achievement. You can now repeat the route... repeat until you hit the 53k zombies dead mark. // Saving Your Progress \\ Another thing that indicates this is how Capcom wanted you to do it... after riding up the elevator, if you don't go back down the stairs and head down the hallway instead, you'll find yourself literally 10 steps from a save point in the bathroom in Paradise Plaza. I saved every 5000 kills, because my xbox 360 crashes occasionally (dirty disc error). Once you save, head back down into the maintenence tunnels and repeat. That's basically it. You should have 53,953 (or whatever it is) dead in no time (well, about 2.5 hours). You may ask, why not use the red car... it's another vehicle to kill with. Here's why you shouldn't bother: 1) it takes two level loads to get the red car vs the single load riding the elevator. 2) it takes a lot of time exiting the tunnels up the ramp, circling the parking lot, getting the red car and heading back down the ramp. 3) All you really care about is having a vehicle to kill with, so what's the difference between 2 cars and 3 cars? The respawn time is so short with the elevator it offsets the time to get the red car. Try this system... it rocks. Remember the whole key is doing circular patterns in the most condensed groups of zombies. Maybe you can come up with a better pattern than the one I came up with. Experiment and have fun! You can get this achievement in any mode, but it needs to be done in one game - i.e., you can't get 20k kills in one game and 35k in another to get the achievement.

Also look at the comments for the "Level Max" achievement, there's info there about how to kill loads of zombies.

It will take you about 4-6 hours. You will remain in the parking garage for the duration. You will need:
1) Maintenance Key (for quick saves and access to elevators in garage) 2) Delivery Van As soon as you enter the parking garage (you already have the key, or just backtrack), take a left, go to the top and take another left -- that is where you will find the van and your respawn trigger: the meat locker room. Now get in the van and drive down the "ramp" killing as many zombies as possible. Once you hit the wall, reverse and kill as many zombies as possible. The distance is such that by the time you reach the top of the ramp, the bottom zombies have reappeared, and by the time you reach the bottom, the top zombies have reappeared. When your van "dies," enter the meat locker room and then reenter the garage. Hoila! A brand new van will be waiting for you, plus a whole new crowd of zombies. I was averaging about 1,000 kills every 5 minutes. Also, it helps to go after the zombies with the green gas canisters that explode.
